Homeopathy
Homeopathy is an autonomous healing method, a closed, holistic system. Practised for over 200 years, it uses remedies according to established rules. Its pillars are vital force as the origin of the life principle, the law of similars, testing remedies on healthy people and potentisation of homeopathic substances. The law of similars is a defining feature. It states that a disease should be treated with a substance capable of producing symptoms in a healthy person similar to those experienced by someone who is ill. Homeopathy assesses health according to its own principles through a comprehensive history, taking pathological findings into account. It treats patients using potentised homeopathic substances of plant, animal or mineral origin.
