Introduction

In the course of its activities, ASNFD collects and processes information, some of which qualifies as personal data. The association places great importance on privacy and uses data responsibly, confidentially and for a specific purpose.

Personal data

Two types of data may be collected on asnfd.org:

  • Data provided directly
This is information you send us through a contact form or directly by email. First and last name, company or organisation, and email address are required fields in the contact form.
  • Data collected automatically
During your visits, once you have consented, we may collect web analytics information about your browsing, visit duration, IP address, and browser type and version. Cookies are used for this purpose.

Use of data

Data you provide directly is used to contact you and handle your request. Google Analytics collects web analytics data anonymously, using anonymised IP addresses. This helps us measure site traffic, page views and possible errors so that we can continuously improve the user experience. ASNFD uses these data as the data controller. They will never be transferred to a third party or used for purposes other than those described above.

Legal basis

Personal data is collected only after the user’s required consent has been obtained. Consent is validly collected through buttons and checkboxes and is freely given, clear and unambiguous.

Retention period

Data will be kept for a maximum of three years.

Cookies

Cookies used and their purposes:

  • Google Analytics cookies (full list): web analytics
  • The cookie remembers that you accept cookies, so that you are not asked again on your next visit.

Your rights concerning personal data

You have the right to access all your personal data and request its amendment or deletion. You may also withdraw your consent to its processing.
